Malaysia Women’s National Team, under the guidance of head coach Joel Cornelli, have officially announced their final 23-player squad for the upcoming Tier 1 International Friendlies against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers.
The team will face the UAE in two international friendlies in Dubai on June 18 and 22, before heading to Dushanbe, Tajikistan for the crucial AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Qualifying Campaign from 29 June to 5 July 2025.
Out of the 23 players, 21 are retained from the squad that played in the Tri-Nation Tier 1 Friendlies in Thimphu, Bhutan on 31 May and 3 June.

The two new faces are:
- Daliea Eliesa Mohd Hafiz – a 17-year-old goalkeeper from the U-19 Malayan Tigress squad
- Henrietta Justine – a dynamic forward making her first senior call-up
Before heading into the qualifiers, Malaysia will warm up with two key friendlies against the UAE:
- 18 June 2025 – UAE vs Malaysia
- 22 June 2025 – UAE vs Malaysia (Both matches to be held in Dubai)
The Malayan Tigress will then travel to Dushanbe, Tajikistan to compete in Group H of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers, where they will face:
- 29 June 2025 (Sunday): vs Palestine
- 3 July 2025 (Thursday): vs Tajikistan (Host)
- 5 July 2025 (Saturday): vs North Korea
All matches will be played at the Central Stadium, Dushanbe.
Only the eight group winners from the qualifiers will advance to the final tournament, joining hosts Australia, China PR, South Korea, and Japan. The 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup will be held in Australia from 1–26 March 2026.
