Ezequiel Agüero, forward of Malaysia national team from Sri Pahang FC, is determined to give his best to ensure his name remains ‘sticky’ and will fight for a position in the national team.
“I missed the previous action due to injury, and I am grateful because I am back training with the team this time,” Agüero said.
“I want to prove to the coaching staff that I am fully prepared to fight for the squad,”
In addition, in 2 International Friendly ‘A’ Matches against Syria and China, Aguero emphasised that the line of players called up was capable of providing competition even though they were facing opponents dozens of steps above Malaysia in the International Football Association (FIFA) rankings.
“Of course, these are two difficult matches because they are a good team. But we have good players and are ready to play against a big team.”
“I think we show a lot of improvement every year. Regardless, we need to continue to show improvement and follow the plans that the training ranks have drawn up,”
