Australia U23 national team announced the squad of 22 players from 23 players to participate in the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2022 in Uzbekistan. during 1-19 June 2022.
Any players with A-League Finals Series or potentially A-Leagues All-Stars – commitments will travel to Uzbekistan following the completion of their respective domestic campaigns.
Trevor Morgan, who will coach Australia’s U23s at the upcoming AFC U23 Asian Cup with the assistance of former Socceroos attacker Richard Garcia, said he’s excited by the pool of players that will represent Australia in Central Asia.

Australia U23 will be assigned to Group B and will play against Kuwait on 1 June in Qarshi, Iraq on 4 June in Qarshi, and Jordan on 7 June in Tashkent.
