La’Vere Corbin-Ong, left-back Malaysia national team sees the mission of winning over Chinese Taipei national team in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers Round 2 Group D as something that can be achieved.
“This team knows the quality (they have). Any result other than three points is considered a failure, especially when you know the quality of our team.” Corbin-Ong said.
“We believe three points is something that can be achieved. We recognize that Taiwan is a strong team but we will go with the attitude that we will bring three points home to Malaysia,”
Now, Malaysia is currently ranked second behind the group leader, Oman. At the same time, Chinese Taipei ranked third because it has a better goal difference than Kyrgyz Republic.
