Malaysia’s men’s singles, Lee Zii Jia, reached the quarter-final round after beating Loh Kean Yew from Singapore in the YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships 2024 at Utilita Arena, Birmingham.
Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei won in the straight sets, scoring 21-15, 21-12 in just 33 minutes.
This was the fourth consecutive win in Zii Jia’s six wins over the world number 11 in the last eight meetings.
In tomorrow’s quarter-finals, waiting for Zii Jia is India’s Lakshya Sen from India.
