Thailand national futsal team clinched its second victory and passed to the quarter-final round after beating the Myanmar national futsal team 3-1 in the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024 Group Stage, Group A at Indoor Stadium Huamark, Bangkok.
In this match, Thailand was the side open to attacking Myanmar, but Myanmar sealed the defence line for security.
After Thailand tried more times, in the 9th minute, following a corner kick by Therdsak Charoenpong, passing to Itticha Prapaphan, shot from outside the box into the goal, and Thailand led 1-0.
In the remaining time of the first half, there was no additional score, ending the first half with Thailand leading 1-0.
In the second half, in the 21st minute, following a kick-in by Jirawat Sornwichian and Suphawut Thuenklang’s shot to the near post, Thailand led 2-0.
In the 30th minute, after Myanmar used powerplay for a long time, Thailand got a fast-break attack. Apiwat Chamcharoen’s header pass to Muhammad Osamanmusa shot into the goal; Thailand led 3-0.
In the 36th minute, following the attack of Thailand and Suphawut Thuenklang passing to Pant Kittipanuwong’s shot from a difficult angle, Thailand led 4-0.
In the 38th minute, Myanmar fouled the 6th time and conceded the 2nd penalty mark, and Suphawut Theunklang converted the goal; Thailand led 5-0.
The remaining time of the second half had no additional score, ending Thailand’s win 5-0 and passing to the quarter-final round.
