In addition, “Coach Mhee” revealed Malaysia will be a ‘simulated opponent team’ for Thailand before they attend the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024 due to Thailand will be against 2 ASEAN teams in the group Vietnam and Myanmar.
“Thank You to FA Thailand and Mr Adisak Benjasiriwan, Deputy president of FA Thailand, for inviting Malaysia to participate in this tournament.” Rakphol said in press conference.
“I hope my players will keep the experience in this tournament and meet the big team in Asia, especially Thailand with coach Miguel and Australia, Afghanistan is also a good team”

Malaysia will meet Afghanistan for the first match on Sunday, 24 March 2024, 4.30pm (Thailand time), followed by the second match against the hosts, Thailand on Monday, 25 March 2024, 7.30pm (Thailand time) and the third match against Australia on Wednesday, 27 March 2024, 4.30 pm (Thailand time).
Next, on Thursday, 28 March 2024, the third and fourth-placed teams in the round-robin league format will clash for the Third Place Determination match at 4.30 pm (Thailand time), while the top two teams will meet in the Final, 7.30 pm (Thailand time) for determine the championship.
