National Muay Thai fighter Rifdean Masdor proved he is in a class of his own after scoring a sensational first-round knockout (KO) victory over Indonesia’s Mohamad Redho ‘Rocky’ at ONE Friday Fights 138 at Lumpinee Stadium, Bangkok, last night.
From the opening bell, the three-time U23 world champion asserted complete dominance over his opponent—nicknamed “Indonesia’s Rodtang”—unleashing a relentless barrage of powerful kicks and razor-sharp elbows.
As the bout entered the final minute of the opening round, Rifdean set a clever trap before landing a perfectly-timed spinning elbow that sent Redho crashing to the canvas. Although the Indonesian fighter managed to beat the referee’s count, Rifdean wasted no time in finishing the job.
Moments later, the Malaysian charged forward with a flying kick that connected flush to Redho’s face, followed by a furious, non-stop combination of strikes. The onslaught forced Redho to collapse face-first onto the canvas, prompting the referee to halt the contest.
The emphatic stoppage sealed Rifdean’s third consecutive victory at ONE Friday Fights, further underlining his growing reputation as one of Malaysia’s most dangerous Muay Thai exports on the global stage.
