Korea Republic U23 national team announced the squad of 23 players to participate in the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2022 in Uzbekistan. during 1-19 June 2022.
Among the 23 players, Lee Kang-in, who plays for Mallorca, Spain, was reboarded to the 23-year-old national team after the Tokyo Olympics last year. This is the first selection under the manager Hwang Seon-hong, who took over in September last year.
There are four overseas players: Lee Kang-in (RCD Mallorca), Jeong Sang-Bin (Grasshopper Zurich), Hong Hyun-Seok (LASK Linz), and Oh Se-Hun (Shimizu S-Pulse).

Korea Republic U23 will be assigned to Group C and will play against Malaysia on 2 June in Tashkent, Vietnam on the 5 June, and Thailand on the 8 June.
“The list was decided in consideration of the situation overlapping with the selection of the A national team due to the A match in June, the circumstances of each K League club, and the recent condition and sense of play. We will do our best to lead the way.” Manager Hwang Seon-hong said.
The Korea Republic U23 national team will be convened at Incheon International Airport on the 23rd without any special training and depart for Uzbekistan.
