Football Association of Thailand (FA Thailand) and Buriram United have a press conference today for collaboration youth development to create a new generation of Thailand national team, aiming for 3 years to be in the top 10 of Asia.

The association and Buriram United Club made a mutual agreement. to build the Thai national team To enter the 2025 Asian Football Championship with the goal of being one of the top 10 in Asia, with Chanchanok Chidchob as the manager of this Thai national team and Milos Velebit, a Serbian coach. is the head coach.”

For the Thailand national team, this set will be created with a new concept of work with clear goals. and selected football players aged not over 18 years old (born in 2005) to practice together for 3 years and have important concepts in team building, consisting of selflessness, ethics, responsibility, good attitude, Discipline, mentality, hard work, and unity, which will be the basis for Thai players to improve and develop.

The key process is that there are 4 steps:

  • CHANGE Changes in terms of mental development, physical condition and technique.
  • KINGS OF ASEAN, bringing the Thai national team back to where it should be and create happiness for football fans
  • JUMP, moving forward with standards to challenge leading Asian nations such as Japan and South Korea
  • CONSISTENCY Consistency is the key. in the long-term development of football And stepping up to play on a global level as a stepping stone for future players

By preparing the team, there will be an athlete’s foot test. which will start from December 2022 onwards, all athletes will be introverted At the camp of the Buriram United club, with close supervision from the coaching staff team and trained in football skills in an environment that is equipped with facilities International standards such as training grounds, competition grounds, accommodation for introverts, fitness, swimming pools and nutrition, including discipline and living both on and off the field, etc.

For the staff of the Thai national team coaches, this set is “Milos Velebit”, the head coach and “Stoyan Walan”, the head fitness coach.

The biography of Milos Velebit, Serbian head coach He has coached UEFA PRO LICENSE since 2011 and has played for the Yugoslavia U17 and U19 national teams.
