BG Pathum United has announced Chanathip Songkrasin, Midfielder of the Thailand national team, from Kawasaki Frontale to join the team in the season 2023/24.
Chananthip, has been playing football in Thailand since their youth career with BEC Tero Sasana before rising to the senior team, and moved to Muangthong United in 2016 and moved to J.League with Consadole Sapporo during the second leg of the 2017 season, and ready to perform outstandingly until becoming the main player of the team and was named in the best team of the J.League in 2018
Then in 2022, Chanathip moved to Kawasaki Frontale but did not get many opportunities to play for the past one and a half seasons. before finally deciding to return to play in the Thai League with BG Pathum United.
As for the work on behalf of the Thailand national team, Chanathip is attached to the Thailand national team. From the U19, U23, and main squad, and has played 62 matches for the Thailand national team, scoring 12 goals.
