Amateur Football League (AFL) Board of Directors has officially decided to award a 3-0 victory to Perak FA following Malaysian University Football Team’s (MUFT) failure to ensure the readiness of their home venue for the scheduled match.
The A1 Semi-Pro League fixture between MUFT and Perak FA, set to take place at MMU Stadium in Cyberjaya, could not proceed as planned due to the home team’s inability to provide a pitch in playable condition.
In an official statement, AFL also imposed a fine of RM10,000.00 on MUFT and issued a stern warning against repeating the same mistake in future matches.
The AFL emphasized that it takes such matters seriously and reminded all participating teams to comply with league regulations and maintain proper standards for match venues to ensure smooth competition.
This decision grants Perak FA all three points from the match, while MUFT faces disciplinary consequences for failing to fulfill their responsibilities as the host team.
