Thai League 1 club BG Pathum United have confirmed that club president Pavin Bhirombhakdi has stepped down from his position with immediate effect, citing personal and health-related reasons.
Pavin’s resignation marks the end of an influential era for the Rabbits. Since assuming leadership during the days of Bangkok Glass FC, Pavin has played a pivotal role in transforming the club into one of Thailand’s most professional and successful football outfits.
Under his stewardship, BG Pathum United achieved major domestic triumphs, including lifting the Thai League title, while also making a mark on the continental stage in the AFC Champions League, raising the club’s profile across Asia.
In a statement, the club expressed its gratitude:
“BG Pathum United would like to thank Mr. Pavin Bhirombhakdi for his dedication, commitment, and vision over the years. His contributions have been vital in elevating the club’s structure, professionalism, and success both on and off the pitch. We wish him continued good health.”
