Kashima Antlers, collect 1 points at home after tied Nagoya Grampus with a score 0-0 in the J.League 2022 at Kashima Soccer Stadium, Ibaraki prefecture.

Kashima, who is at home, is in a situation where he can beat Kawasaki Frontale, who is the leader in 10 games, by winning points, even though he is in the 9th game this season. In order to recover from the big defeat of the previous section, the same starting members such as former Nagoya midfielder Ryuji Izumi , who has been appointed as a voluntary player, were lined up.

Nagoya, on the other hand, has been in a slump with 2 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses in the league, and the 3-5-2 system that was set up in the match against Hiroshima in the previous section of the Levain Cup was adopted for the first time in the league match. GK Langerak , defender Haruya Fujii , midfielder Ryoya Morishita , midfielder Sho Inagaki , forward Mateus Castro and midfielder Yuki Soma were the starting pitchers in the third day in a row.

Kashima grabbed the ball, but Nagoya endured with a 5-3-2 defensive block, and the development continued. Under such circumstances, Nagoya was the first to reach the decision. In the 22nd minute, Mateus reacted on the near side to Soma’s cross that attacked the left side, but Kashima goalkeeper Kwoun Sun-tae Showed a fine save.

After that, Kashima could n’t break open the defense team in Nagoya, although the ball went into Ayase Ueda and Yuma Suzuki . A chance to Nagoya in the 29th minute. Keiya Sento connected from Inagaki’s ball capture , and Mateus aimed but did not reach the goal. In the 33rd minute, Mateus and Leo Silva crossed the goal from the right side, and Sento aimed with his left foot, but was blocked by defender Ikuma Sekigawa ‘s block.

In the second half, which was 0-0, Kashima finally decided. In the 47th minute, Suzuki headed to the cross of defender Koki Anzai who broke through the left side, but was out of the frame. In the 48th minute, Kashima was defeated by Ueda in front of the goal and won a free-kick. Ueda acted as the kicker himself, but the shot hit the wall. In the 57th minute, Suzuki matched the free-kick of midfielder Yuta Higuchi , but this also flew out of the frame.

After that, players who hurt both teams one after another in the aerial battle, Suzuki whose arm hit the face of defender Shinnosuke Nakatani , and immediately after that, a yellow card was given to coach Daiki Iwamasa of Kashima who jumped out of the technical area and protested . In the 72nd minute, Suzuki jumped into the far side at Anzai’s early cross, but Soma who barely returned saved Nagoya with a super clear.

In the 73rd minute, Ueda, who responded to a cross from the right side, fell in the penalty area and the VAR check was prolonged, but it was judged as no foul. Kashima had a series of chances, but the newly launched defender Yutaka Yoshida continued to show great response.

In the 86th minute of the second half, Nagoya, who was on the other side of the battle, responded to midfielder Takuya Uchida ‘s side pass by FW Yoichiro Kakitani

who made a mistake on the left side, but he was wearing Mateus and the shot went to the outside right of the goal. Nakatani headed to Mateus’s CK, but it was slightly off to the right. Kashima had an additional time of 4 minutes, and midfielder Yuta Matsumura ‘s cut-in shot hit the frame, but GK Langerak showed a super save.

The match is timed up as it is. Both shared one point. Kashima finished 9 games and scored 19 points, surpassing Yokohama FM, who had 10 games, to move up to 2nd place. If he wins the match against C-Osaka in the next section, he will surpass Kawasaki F with 20 points in 10 games and rise to the top position.
