Malaysian youngster Qabil Irfan described his first-ever podium finish in the 2026 MOMOVEN Moto4 European Cup as a reward for perseverance after securing third place in Race 2, marking a significant milestone in his European racing career.
The talented rider battled through an intensely competitive race, staying with the leading group from start to finish before clinching a hard-earned podium.
Speaking after the race, Quabil expressed his gratitude to everyone who has supported his journey.
“I am very grateful because I finally managed to achieve my first podium in the Moto4 European Cup by finishing third in Race 2.”
“Today’s race was extremely challenging because the competition was fierce from the very beginning until the finish. However, I never gave up and kept pushing to stay with the front group. This podium means a lot to me because it is the result of the entire team’s hard work throughout the weekend.”
The achievement represents another important step forward for one of Malaysia’s brightest motorcycle racing prospects, who continues to gain valuable experience against Europe’s top young talents.
Qabil also took the opportunity to thank the people and organizations behind his success.
