Datuk Ong Kim Swee, head coach of Sabah FC believes Miguel Cifuentes and Ramon Machado, two new import players will help to achieve victory over Kuching City in the Liga Super Malaysia 2023 tomorrow.
However, Ong Kim Swee revealed approval for the two players from Spain and Brazil was still subject to an International Transfer Certificate (ITC) expected to be received today or before tomorrow’s game.
“At the same time, we need to give Cifu and Ramon a bit of time to get enough understanding before continuing to act with Sabah FC.” Sabah FC head coach said.
“Other players have already played with the team before the 2023 Malaysia League started and of course with Cifu coming on and Ramon taking a bit of time to understand Sabah FC’s tactical style,”
“I don’t want to say what we need to do over the two games if our first game fails to achieve its objectives,”
“We believe that Sabah FC is now on the right track to reach the remaining levels of league competition while achieving positive results in every game,”
Liga Super Malaysia 2023, Matchday 16 between Sabah FC against Kuching City will play on 8 July 2023, 5.45 pm. at Likas Stadium, Kota Kinabalu.
