Jordi Amat center-back Indonesia national team explained to the Indonesian fans for reason in decision to move to Johor Darul Ta’Zim in Liga Super Malaysia.
Jordi Amat decided to leave KAS Eupen in Belgian Pro League after the end of season 2021/22 and move to Johor Darul Ta’Zim in Liga Super Malaysia for the second leg of the season 2022.
“Hello to all my followers, I’m posting this in order to explain the reasons why l have chosen JDT as my new team,”
“The first thing I want to clarify is all the false accusations against me, implying that I want to have an Indonesian passport to be able to play as Asian quota in my new JDT team, I want everyone to know that before making this decision, I have had offers from also other powerful leagues, I have not signed in JDT for the money, my reasons for signing in Johor are based on my adaptation to Asia, the proximity to Indonesia and the possibility of continuing to compete at the highest Asian level, since JDT competes in ACL, Asian Champions League,” Jordi said on Instagram.
