Johor Darul Ta’Zim has tied with Persis Solo, club from Indonesia with a score of 1-1 in the International friendly match at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, Iskandar Puteri.
The opponent that Persis Solo faced was not a random team. JDT has become a regular champion in the Malaysian League’s highest caste competition.
Tight match really felt. Fabiano Beltrame had to be rewarded with a yellow card in the 28th minute, for blocking the movement of winger JDT Safari Rasid.
Unfortunately, JDT’s free-kick prize was a disaster for Persis. Goalkeeper Persis M. Riyandi seems to have been fooled. Moussa Sidibe’s kick successfully thrilled Persis’s goal through his hard kick. JDT lead 1-0 first. This score lasted until the first half ended.
Left behind by one point, Persis tried to play insistently. Wong Solo’s pride team tries to take advantage of all opportunities. Finally, former JDT player Fernando Rodriguez equalized for Persis.
He received a ball from attacking midfielder Alexis Messidoro after stealing the ball from S. Kunanlan. Fernando managed to push the opponent’s goal in the 71st minute.
Just breathed a sigh of relief, Persis immediately got a counter attack from Muhamadou Sumareh in the 73rd minute. Because of the danger, goalkeeper Persis M. Riyandi had to violate the player numbered 13.
The referee decided to award JDT a penalty. Guilherme De Paula was appointed as the executor, fortunately, M. Riyandi managed to read Guilherme’s ball with his left hand. Keep it safe Persis. Until the game ended, the score remained 1-1.
