Urawa Red Diamonds back to collect win after not win 9 matches consecutive after opening home beaten Nagoya Grampus with a score of 3-0 in the J.League 2022 at Saitama Stadium, Saitama prefecture.
Urawa at home is the first official match in 17 days since the second round of the Emperor’s Cup and the match against Fukushima on June 1. While working to strengthen the collapse in front of the goal during the suspension period, Takahiro Sekine and Tomoaki Okubo were appointed instead of foreign attackers on both sides, and Takahiro Akimoto was placed on the front line.
On the other hand, in Nagoya, Noriyoshi Sakai and Mu Kanazaki will be excluded from the members, and the composition of the front will change. Ryotaro Ishida was the first starter in the league as a center forward.
Opportunities come to both sides from the beginning of the game. When Urawa got a CK in the 1st minute, Ataru Esaka headed from the short corner. Immediately after 3 minutes, Nagoya also started from CK, and Yuichi Maruyama matched on the far side.
In the 4th minute, Yuta Miyamoto jumped into the cross of Esaka that flowed to the left side, but unfortunately it didn’t fit. Immediately after the start of the match, both teams approached the opponent’s goal.
Then, in the 5th minute, Sho Inagaki jumped into the cross of his Castro and shot the first shot to catch the frame in this game, but this was stopped by GK Shusaku Nishikawa. Up to this point, it seemed to be a step up and down, but the game gradually became a one-sided development.
Starting with Okubo bringing in from dribbling to shooting in the 10th minute, Urawa continues to push in. Then, in 20 minutes, the score finally moves. From Ken Iwao’s left CK, Alexander, who was in front of the goalkeeper, scored a waza-ari goal with his heading. Immediately after that, in the 23rd minute, Akimoto changed course near the left CK, and Atsuki Ito on the far side pushed in free. Urawa, who was suffering from a lack of goals, scored multiple goals in a blink of an eye.
In the 26th minute, the inferior Nagoya gave up Ryotaro Ishida, the first starter, and Hiroyuki Abe was introduced. Even though I tried to attack, the ball couldn’t reach the front because I couldn’t keep turning the ball behind. In the 35th minute, Urawa’s press, which was a little ahead of the game, entered the enemy camp, but he couldn’t bring it to the finish.
Then, in the 36th minute immediately after, Urawa approached the Nagoya goal, and Sekine finally escaped in a ground battle involving multiple people. When GK Yohei Takeda calmly aimed at the crotch and shot, Urawa was given a decisive third point.
Urawa’s dominance did not change in the second half, and Nagoya was not able to hit the counter, and the scene where he lost the ball due to a simple mistake was conspicuous and he could not move on to the attack. After 60 minutes when Urawa’s momentum began to decline, he attacked the penalty area several times, but could not bring it to the finish. In the 64th minute Leo Silva aimed for a loop shot, but the ball crossed the crossbar.
In the 69th minute, Urawa put in Kai Shibato and Alex his shark to leverage his momentum. Tireless Akimoto moved to the left SB, and in the 73rd minute Kai Matsuzaki replaced Okubo. Let time pass while gradually regaining pace.
Urawa, who maintained a 3-0 score, closed the match with some pinches and chances. In the league match, he returned to the first half with a victory for the first time in about three months.
