Malaysia’s national football team, has added Fazrul Amir of Kelantan Darul Naim and Zhafri Yahya of Kuala Lumpur City to their centralized training camp.
The call-ups come as replacements for injured players ahead of the two Tier 1 international matches scheduled this month.
Fazrul Amir, 24, steps in for Selangor FC’s replaces Mukhairi Ajmal, who sustained an injury during the AFC Champions League Two 2024/25 match against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors on November 7, 2024.
Zhafri Yahya, 30, replaces Johor Darul Ta’zim’s Natxo Insa, sidelined after an injury in the AFC Champions League Elite 2024/25 clash with Ulsan Hyundai on November 5, 2024.
Both Mukhairi and Natxo reported to the camp but were released after medical examinations confirmed their injuries.
Malaysia national team to face Laos on November 14 at PAT Stadium in Bangkok and India on November 18 at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad.
