Mubin Ergashev resigned as the head coach of the Tajikistan U23 National Team, despite just defeating the Thailand U23 National Team 1-0 in the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024 Group Stage, Group C last night.
The reason Ergachev decided to resign from the position was that they wanted to take responsibility for the work that did not meet the target aims to reach the semi-finals at least to qualify to play in the continental playoffs
Ergashev worked as the head coach of the Tajikistan U19 national team before moving up to the U23 team from 2021 until now.
