Thailand’s national team is the first in ASEAN to clinch a victory in this tournament after winning over Kyrgyz Republic national team, scoring 2-0 in the AFC Asian Cup 2023 Group Stage, Group F at Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium.
In this match, in the beginning game, Thailand was the side to attack Kyrgyz.
In the 15th minute, Thailand almost got the first goal following Supachai Chaided ’s foot to the goal but caught offside.
In the 26th minute, following a fast break from Thailand, Bordin Phala shot in the first attempt to save, but the ball rebounded to Supachai Jaided shot again to the second post, and Thailand led 1-0.
In the remaining time of the first half, Thailand got more opportunities but no additional score, ending the first half with Thailand leading 1-0.
In the second half, in the 49th minute, following Theerathon Bunmathan crossing the ball and Nicholas Mickelson’s open to the middle in the box and the defense of Kyrgyz blocked the ball rebounded to Supachai Jaided’s shot to the goal, Thailand led 2-0.
The remaining time of the second half had no additional score, ending the match Thailand won 2-0.
