Korea Republic national team performed well in the first match after beating the Bahrain national team, scoring 3-1 in the AFC Asian Cup 2023, Group Stage, Group E at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
In this match, In the beginning of the first half, the side of Korea played an attack on Bahrain and got more opportunities.
In the 38th minute, following a fast attack from Korea and Lee Jae-Sung’s long pass to Hwang In-Beom’s fire in the box to the top of the goal, the Korea Republic led 1-0.
The remaining time of the first half had no additional score, ending the first half with Korea Republic leading 1-0.
In the second half, in the 51st minute, following an attack on Bahrain, a defender of Korea blocked the ball but rebounded Abdullah Al Hashash’s shot to the second post, and Bahrain equalized 1-1.
But not long after, in the 56th minute, Korea got a fast attack again, and Kim Min-Jae passed to Lee Kang-In’s shot from outside the box to the first post, Korea Republic back to leading 2-1.
And in the 68th minute, Korea has a counter-attack and Hwang In-Beom. Passing the ball to Lee Kang-In’s shot into the goal, Korea Republic led 3-1.
In the 74th minute, Korea almost got 4th goal from Son Heung-Min but caught offside.
After that, there was no additional score, and the match ended with Korea Republic winning 3-1.
