These fixtures are an essential part of the team’s final preparations for the AFF Women’s Cup 2024, which will be held in Laos starting on November 23, 2024. Head coach Soleen Al-Zoubi has emphasized the importance of these matches in fine-tuning the team’s tactics and evaluating player performances before the regional tournament.

“We have assembled a squad with a blend of youth and experience, and these matches in Dubai will provide a valuable test of our readiness for the AFF Women’s Cup. It’s an important step in our journey, and we aim to use these games to build confidence and cohesion,” said Al-Zoubi.

The Malayan Tigress are set to depart for Dubai on Sunday, October 20, 2024, where they will undergo intensive training before their friendly matches.

With the AFF Women’s Cup looming, the friendly matches in Dubai will offer Malaysia an opportunity to face tough competition ahead of their campaign. The tournament in Laos, scheduled to begin on November 23, will see the Malayan Tigress competing against the region’s best teams, with hopes of advancing deep into the competition.
