Thailand U19 women’s national team delivered a commanding performance to crush Malaysia U19 with a resounding 7-1 victory in their second Group B match of the ASEAN Girls’ U19 Championship 2025 at District 8 Stadium, Ho Chi Minh.
It took just two minutes for Thailand to strike first. Rattawalyn Intrabamrung broke into the penalty area and forced a save from the Malaysian goalkeeper, but the rebound fell kindly to Natchanok Kosonsaksakul, who fired a sharp left-footed strike to give Thailand the early lead.
Malaysia responded quickly in the 5th minute, equalizing through Kaseh Karmila Az Zahra, who calmly slotted home from inside the box to make it 1-1.
Thailand regained control in the 14th minute when Parichat Thongrong surged down the left flank and delivered a precise cross for Kulisara Limpawanich to head home, making it 2-1.
In the 30th minute, Thailand extended their lead to 3-1 following a defensive blunder. Rinyapat Muldong whipped in a dangerous ball from the left, and Malaysia’s Arisya Pansy Effendy unfortunately turned it into her own net. The score remained 3-1 at halftime.
Thailand continued to dominate in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Rasita Thaobao sliced through the Malaysian defense and squared the ball for Rattawalyn Intrabamrung, who stylishly finished with a left-footed backheel to make it 4-1.
The fifth goal came in the 69th minute, again through Kulisara Limpawanich, who tapped in from close range after a brilliant setup by Rinyapat Muldong, securing her second goal of the match.
Thailand weren’t done yet. In the 86th minute, Manita Noiwet rose highest to head in a powerful corner from Rasita Thaobao, making it 6-1.
The final blow came in injury time (90+3’), when Kasessirin Bunmatun completed the rout with a clinical strike to seal a 7-1 demolition of Malaysia.
With this win, Thailand U19 Women top Group B with two consecutive victories and are now in pole position to advance to the knockout stages. Malaysia, on the other hand, will look to regroup ahead of their final group match.
