But in the 17th minute Chonburi was able to reply through Yoo Byungsoo’s goal after continuing a mature pass from Sumanya. Yoo Byungsoo was able to take advantage of the gap in Persija’s defense and escape the offside trap.
Yoo Byungsoo again managed to score the second goal to bring Chonburi 2-0 up against Persija. This goal was created after Yoo Byungsoo got a direct pass from the midfield then he who was free standing without any control was able to score a goal against Persija.
In the 28th minute Persija was able to threaten the opponent’s goal through Riko’s acrobatic kick. But his shot was still too weak so it was still easy for the Chonburi goalkeeper to secure.
Persija were finally able to equalize in the 42nd minute through Riko Simanjuntak’s goal after continuing Taufik Hidayat’s pass. Persija drew 2-2 against Chonburi in the first round.
At the beginning of the second half, Chonburi appeared pressing since the early minutes. Chonburi was able to score in the 67th minute through Danilo’s goal.
However, Persija were finally able to equalize to 3-3 in the 89th minute through Riko Simanjuntak’s flick. The match ended 3-3.
