Natxo Insa, midfielder of Johor Darul Ta’Zim has promised that his teammates will deliver the performance of their careers and encouraged that this was the best opportunity to record a new chapter in the team’s history.
JDT, are top in the standings, tied on 10 points with Saturday’s Korea Republic opponents, but despite their tenacious run in the AFC Champions League 2022, nothing less than three points will guarantee a historic spot in the Round of 16.
“We are going to face the former champions of Asia, but we must remember that this is the best opportunity to qualify and change the history of the club,” Natxo, said.
“This challenge is very different from the domestic level, where we enjoy a lot of possession. We need to be prepared that for long periods against a top team like Ulsan, we will not have the ball.”
“So, it is my job to ensure that we keep the shape of the team in those moments.”
AFC Champions League 2022, group stage, Group I, matchday 6 between Johor Darul Ta’zim vs Ulsan Hyundai will be played on 30 April at 5.00 pm. at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, Iskandar Puteri.
