Malaysia’s rising Moto3 star Hakim Danish Ramli delivered an impressive qualifying performance to secure a top-10 grid start for Round 4 of the 2026 season at Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto.
Riding for AEON Credit-MT Helmets-MSI, the 18-year-old showcased resilience and pace across both qualifying sessions, underlining his growing confidence on the world stage.
After finishing 17th in practice, Hakim Danish was required to fight his way through Q1—a high-pressure session where only the top riders advance.
He rose to the challenge in style. Clocking a best lap of 1:46.358 minutes, Hakim secured fourth place in Q1, comfortably booking his spot in Q2 and keeping his hopes of a strong grid position alive.
Carrying that momentum into Q2, Hakim continued to impress against the fastest riders in the field.
He posted a best time of 1:45.273 to finish 10th overall, just +1.203 seconds off pole position—a competitive margin at one of Moto3’s most demanding circuits.
The result means Hakim Danish will start Sunday’s race from P10, placing him firmly in contention for points and potentially more.
Pole position was secured by Maximo Quiles of CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team, who set the benchmark with a blistering lap of 1:44.070 minutes.
With a solid grid slot and encouraging pace, Hakim Danish now heads into race day with growing belief of delivering one of his strongest results of the season.
