Malaysia national team has called Shamie Iszuan, winger of Kuching City, to join the squad for FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers Round 2 Group D matchday 5-6 in June.
Shamie has been named on the waiting list and has called to replace Darren Lok, the forward of Sabah FC, who reported yesterday but had to be released today after a doctor’s examination confirmed a hamstring injury.
Malaysia will be in action for the fifth match of Group D against the Kyrgyz Republic on Thursday, 6 June 2024, at the Dolen Omurzakov Stadium, Bishkek before flying home for the sixth match against Chinese Taipei at the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil, on Tuesday, 11 June 2024.
