Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) launched the latest Nike kits for the 2024 season in a launch event that was also attended by fans at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on 24 April 2024.
The Southern Tigers have maintained Nike as the team’s jersey supplier.
The new JDT jerseys for the new season come in two designs, a red and blue jersey for the home kit and a white jersey for the away kit. JDT are always committed to presenting new jersey designs that are unique especially for the fans.
The home jersey for this season maintains the traditional red and blue colours of the Johor flag. It features blue as the primary colour, interspersed with red stripes on the front and back, a round collar and red stripes on the end of the sleeves.
Meanwhile, JDT’s away jersey remains white as the primary colour in addition to having red stripes on the sleeves and neck of the jersey.
“This is the tenth year of Nike’s partnership with the Southern Tigers since 2014. The jerseys are a symbol of a decade-long successful legacy as well as brand prestige of both sides,” says Nike.
Additionally, an unique feature that makes them different from past jerseys is the Southern Tigers name being inscribed on the inside back of the jerseys. The new jerseys also maintain the high-tech design concept of Nike Dri-Fit.
The jerseys were launched with a 2 minute and 10 second-long video about JDT being not just a football club but also an agent of unity for the rakyat that share the same interest and passion. The video also showed JDT being ready for the new season in a mission of getting victory after victory.
The Socios.com application platform, JDT’s partner since September 2022, continues to adorn the front of the jersey.
Fans can get the jerseys from the JDT Online Store or walk in the JDT Direct Megastore at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium to make the purchase.
The home and away jerseys are priced at RM299 each. Women’s cut jerseys are also available at the same price. By popular demand, Nike has made available the home and away jersey sizes up to 3XL.
A carnival was also held in conjunction with the launch ceremony, featuring performances from Boys of Straits, Kidd Santhe, Saixe and DJ Naufal. Luaskan Kuasamu Johor.
