Johor Darul Ta’Zim has announced a reduction of expenditure by 30-40% in season 2024/25 to structure and ensure sustainable finances.
Alistair Edwards, Chief Executive Officer of Johor Darul Ta’Zim, has explained via an official statement of the club that the club has spent a considerable amount of money on football projects 6-7 years over and needs to structure finance to ensure the sustainability of the club.
“Johor Darul Ta’Zim has announced a reduction of expenditure by 30-40% in season 2024/25 to structure and ensure sustainability finances.” Alistair said.
“Having spent a considerable amount of money on our football project, including football infrastructure, over the past six seven years, Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) needs to structure our finances to ensure sustainability.”
“The club has decided to reduce spending by 30-40% to enable this process. We will not be spending money. We will be reducing in terms of our expenditure.”
“The Southern Tigers will be undergoing a squad transformation that will see several changes in personnel ahead of the 2024 and 2025 seasons. This includes players and technical staff that the club will release.”
