Selangor FC has officially entered a strategic partnership with Korean automotive giant Hyundai Motor, marking a new chapter in the club’s commercial growth ahead of the 2025-2026 Malaysian football season.
The announcement was made by Hyundai Motor Malaysia via their official social media platforms, confirming that Hyundai will serve as the Official Transportation Partner for Selangor FC this season.
“Hyundai Motor Malaysia is proud to announce our partnership with Selangor FC as the Official Transportation Partner for the 2025-2026 football season,” the company stated.
“Together, we drive with greater passion, performance, and pride — both on and off the pitch — as we shape a future inspired by our core belief: Progress for Humanity.”
This partnership makes Hyundai Motor only the second automotive brand in the Malaysia Super League to secure such a role, following Toyota’s collaboration with Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT).
The announcement has been met with enthusiasm from Selangor supporters, who see the deal as a positive step toward boosting the club’s profile and resources. Many believe that having a reputable global automotive brand on board will further enhance the Red Giants’ ambitions on and off the field.
Selangor FC is no stranger to high-profile sponsorships, with notable partners such as Daikin, SVG Worldwide, and Provident Fiduciaries Berhad already part of the club’s commercial lineup.
