Malaysian Football League (MFL) has announced an extension to the deadline for Club Licensing documentation submissions, following multiple requests from Super League clubs facing difficulties in meeting the original cut-off date of 30 April 2025.
The First Instance Body (FIB)—the independent committee responsible for evaluating and enforcing club licensing requirements—has approved the extension, allowing additional time for clubs to finalize all necessary documentation for the 2024/25 Club Licensing Cycle under the AFC CLAS system for the National License.
In its official statement, the FIB has set 10 May 2025 as the new and final deadline for all Malaysia Super League clubs to submit and complete any outstanding licensing documents.
FIB Chairman Sheikh Mohd Nasir Sheikh Mohd Sharif expressed hope that the additional time will enable all clubs to fulfill their obligations and ensure compliance with national and continental licensing standards.
“We trust that this extension will help all clubs complete the necessary documentation within the new deadline. It is crucial for the integrity and professional management of the league,” said Sheikh Mohd Nasir.
Pihak Malaysian Football League (MFL) telah menerima beberapa permohonan daripada kelab untuk melanjutkan tarikh akhir bagi memuatnaik dokumen Pelesenan Kelab yang mana akan berakhir pada 30 April 2025.
This move reflects MFL’s continued commitment to upholding high standards of governance, transparency, and professionalism in Malaysian football while providing clubs the necessary flexibility to meet regulatory requirements.
