Malaysia U17 national team has announced 25 players in the squad to prepare for AFC U17 Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers from 23-27 October 2024 at Vientiane, Laos PDR.
Head coach Javier Jorda Ribera will lead the team as they prepare for this crucial tournament, starting with a central training camp on October 7, 2024, in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
The squad features a mix of talent from the Akademi Mokhtar Dahari (AMD), Johor Darul Ta’zim FC IV, Singa Muda Perlis, and even international players such as Kaveen Shanmugesh Waran from Australia and Kim Johan Nyo Tegnander from Norway. These young players will look to build chemistry and strength ahead of their qualifying campaign.

The squad will undergo intensive training from October 7 to October 21 in Johor, focusing on tactics, team cohesion, and match preparation. They will then depart for Vientiane from Senai International Airport in Johor Bahru on October 21, 2024.
Malaysia will compete in Group H of the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualifiers, facing tough opposition in the form of Lebanon, UAE, and host Laos. All matches will be held at the Lao National Stadium in Vientiane:

• Malaysia vs UAE – Friday, October 25, 2024
• Malaysia vs Laos – Sunday, October 27, 2024
