Ryan and Declan Lambert, 2 players of Kuala Lumpur City were allowed to play against Johor Darul Ta’Zim despite their status as loan players from the club.
Ryan and Declan were previously announced last February as the new players of JDT for the 2024/25 season.
However, Stanley Bernand, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KL City, confirmed that the Lambert twins will definitely return to the capital to help KL City in the 2024/25 season.
“Among the technical aspects is that when Ryan and Declan (Lambert) return, they have the opportunity to play against JDT,” Stanley said with Astro Arena.
“I think it shows that JDT is the best team, the mentality is also the best. So Ryan and Declan can play against JDT if the coach wants to use”
“As we know, Ryan and Declan have been here for a long time, so this is a great addition. They are also impatient (to return). They also have a big club as a parent club.”
