Perak FC has taken proactive steps to accommodate fans for their rescheduled Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 Matchday 9 clash against Johor Darul Ta’Zim, set for November 10, 2024, at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, Iskandar Puteri.
The match, originally postponed twice due to weather disruptions, will now be held at SSI following the Malaysian Football League’s (MFL) directive to move it to a secure venue for this high-profile fixture.
Despite the change of venue, Perak remains the designated home team, with JDT listed as the visiting side. In a statement, MFL clarified that SSI was chosen as a neutral site to minimize security risks and avoid further delays in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 schedule.
Perak FC, acknowledging the importance of the match, agreed to the venue change to ensure a smooth season for all teams involved.
In a show of support, Perak FC is providing free transportation for fans traveling to SSI. The club encouraged “The Bos Gaurus” supporters to join en masse, stating that tickets from the previously postponed match would be honored and season pass holders would also gain entry. Perak FC apologized for any inconvenience, emphasizing their commitment to the fans and a successful season.
This initiative demonstrates Perak FC’s dedication to its supporters and underscores the club’s respect for the league and competing teams.
