MUST CPK, the club from Macau confirms withdrawal from AFC Cup 2022 after having taken note of the Macau Football Association (AFM) to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
The AFC notes the challenges faced by MUST CPK as a result of the travel restrictions in Macau due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the matter will now be referred to the relevant AFC Committees.
Consequently, there will be no replacement for MUST CPK in the AFC Cup 2022 Group J, which will now consist of three teams – Hong Kong sides Eastern Long Lions and Lee Man as well as Chinese Taipei’s Tainan City FC.
Group J will take place in Buriram, Thailand as scheduled from 24-30 June.
