Malaysia national team has announced 26 players in the squad for training camp for AFC Asian Cup 2023 Final Round from 12 January – 10 Febrauary 2024 at Doha Qatar.
Based on the abovementioned list, Pan Gon has retained a total of 22 from 25 players that were called up in the previous centralized training camp for the two World Cup 2026/Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers matches against the Kyrgyz Republic and Chinese Taipei, last November.
The four new players who are on the list are the two Johor Darul Ta’zim midfielders, Syamer Kutty Abba and Natxo Insa; the Selangor FC defender, Ahmad Khuzaimi Piee and the Kuala Lumpur City FC striker, Romel Morales.

For the AFC Asian Cup 2023 in Qatar, Malaysia, who are in Group E, will meet Jordan at the Al Janoub Stadium on Monday, January 15; Bahrain at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Saturday, January 20; and Korea Republic at the Al Janoub Stadium, on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
