PDRM FC kept 3 points in away match after beating Negeri Sembilan FC scoring 2-1 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Paroi.
Negeri Sembilan had an early chance to score, but Jacque Faye’s header from Aroon Kumar’s cross failed to beat PDRM’s goalkeeper, Nor Hakem Hamidun. PDRM’s defense managed to thwart Negeri Sembilan’s attacking efforts, while their own offensive play, led by Ifedayo Olusegun, kept the hosts’ defense on their toes. Ifedayo came close to scoring in the 19th minute, but his shot hit the post.
Negeri Sembilan took the lead in the 44th minute when R Barathkumar capitalized on a mistake by PDRM captain Faith Friday Obilor, scoring just before halftime.
In the second half, PDRM responded strongly. Mohd Shahrel Fikri Md Fauzi equalized in the 53rd minute, taking advantage of a defensive error by Negeri Sembilan. Just four minutes later, PDRM took the lead with a goal from Bruno Suzuki, who finished off a through ball from Fadi Mahmood Awad Salleh.
Negeri Sembilan tried to equalize but failed to make any direct attempts on goal, leaving PDRM to claim all three points.
After seven matches, Negeri Sembilan has only managed one victory, against Sri Pahang FC last month.
