Kim Pan-Gon, Head coach of Malaysia national team revealed is the last chance for players to win the heart of the national coach before participating in the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 in next week.
For Pan-gon, he wants to see the best action can be exhibited by all players in addition to the most important element being able to adapt to the tactics he wants to apply.
“They have to compete with each other before we decide on the final list later. I hope each player can give their best performance and prove they deserve to play in the AFF Cup.” Pan-Gon said in a press conference.
“Opportunities so far are open to all players. However, the selection is of course aimed at several things with priority to tactics that we want the players to adapt to.”
“I also want to see their character, aggressive nature and wisdom on the field,”
In the meantime, Pan-gon admitted that he faced difficult moments to form a team capable of meeting the expectations of the fans who want the national squad to get good results in this AFF Cup campaign.
“At the moment it is quite difficult because many players are new players and there are not many matches together. But, we are still focused on this stage.”
“So far, I am happy and confident with them. In the training session, we did quite difficult exercises and so on but they managed to execute well.”
“The players also love their country and based on their commitment, they are ready to play their best for the country,”
International Friendly Match Tier 1 between Malaysia VS Maldives will play on 14 December at 9.00 pm at KLFA Stadium, Kuala Lumpur Live on Astro Arena(Astro Box Channel 801), TV9 Malaysia(MyFreeview 109).
