The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has officially partnered with PUMA, the globally renowned sportswear brand, to become the Official Apparel and Jersey Partner for the Harimau Malaya, effective 1 January 2025.
The partnership with PUMA is seen as a pivotal move for Malaysian football, combining the FAM’s commitment to elevating the sport and PUMA’s track record of excellence and cutting-edge designs. Known for producing world-class kits for some of the biggest football teams globally, PUMA’s entry is expected to bring fresh energy to the Harimau Malaya brand both on and off the field.
The collaboration will officially kick off with the launch of PUMA-designed jerseys and training kits in early 2025, featuring advanced materials and designs aimed at optimizing player performance while celebrating Malaysia’s rich football heritage.
As FAM welcomes PUMA, the organization also expressed its sincere gratitude to Nike, which has served as the official partner of Harimau Malaya for an impressive 18 years (2007–2024). Nike’s contributions to the national team’s journey over nearly two decades have been invaluable, providing high-quality apparel and a professional image that elevated Malaysian football on the global stage.
Further details about the partnership, including the unveiling of the first-ever PUMA-designed jersey, will be shared at an official launch event in early 2025.
