Esteban Solari, head coach of Johor Darul Ta’zim gave birth to a sense of pride with his team’s triumph in netting a clean win for the 13th match consecutive after beating Penang FC 2-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2023 last night.
Now, Johor Darul Ta’Zim can be made a record as the first team in Malaysia to win all matches in the first leg of Liga Super Malaysia.
“I’m proud of the players because we struggled to win all these games. It wasn’t easy. Sometimes people think the game is fun, it was a big mistake.” Esteban said in a post-match press conference.
“They (Penang) are a difficult team. They have quality players up front and they are a team that always puts you in trouble,”
“Today (last night) Selangor was killed by PDRM (meanwhile) everyone told (Selangor) against PDRM an easy game, I already said he was not happy,”
“It must be remembered that we opened today’s match (last night) with a set piece. Players are desperate not to allow their opponents to score goals.”
