FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers Round 3 Group A matches of the DPR Korea national team will be played in Vientiane, Laos PDR.
Due to a malignant, infectious disease spreading in DPR Korea and the country’s restrictions on foreign entry, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has ordered DPR Korea not to host matches in Pyongyang.
Additionally, all third-round matches must be broadcast live under AFC rights and utilize the VAR system.
The AFC has agreed to DPR Korea’s request to play their home matches at Laos National Stadium KM 16 in Vientiane.
DPR Korea will play their first three home matches in 2024 at the Laos National Stadium KM 16:
- VS Qatar on 10 September 2024
- VS Iran on 14 November 2024
- VS Uzbekistan on 19 November 2024
