Javier Fernandez, Head coach of the Bangladesh national team Admitted that there was no problem in having to play in front of Malaysian fans, he also stressed that his team would try to make a surprise in a match against Malaysia in the AFC Asian Cup 2023 qualifiers 3rd round on tomorrow.
The operator from Spain explained it is based on the advantage of Malaysia which plays on its own court and is in a higher position in the FIFA world rankings.
“All the pressure on Malaysia because they are playing at home, are ranked higher and this is an opportunity for them to advance to the finals of the Asian Cup,” Javier said in a press conference.
“This is also the best opportunity for us. I think we have shown a positive performance but facing Malaysia, I want to give something to the supporters and the country,”
