Selangor FC delivered a ruthless attacking masterclass, thrashing Kelantan The Real Warrior 6-0 in a one-sided Liga Super clash at Stadium Sultan Muhammad IV.
The emphatic victory keeps Selangor firmly in contention for a top-two finish, underlining their growing momentum at a crucial stage of the season.
Selangor started brightly and broke the deadlock in the 25th minute through Kim Ji-ho, who netted his first goal for the club after capitalizing on a scramble inside the penalty area.
With confidence flowing, the visitors quickly took control of proceedings.
Leading the line with authority, Chrigor Moraes turned the game into a rout with two quick-fire goals within three minutes, leaving Kelantan TRW reeling heading into halftime.
The Brazilian striker’s clinical finishing exposed the defensive frailties of the hosts, who struggled to contain Selangor’s relentless attacking waves.
Any hopes of a Kelantan comeback faded early in the second half when defender Faris Shah Rosli inadvertently turned the ball into his own net, handing Selangor a fourth goal.
Moments later, Alvin Fortes added a fifth, compounding the misery for the home side.
Despite deploying experienced midfielder Azam Azih, Kelantan failed to gain any foothold in midfield as Selangor dominated every department.
The night belonged to Chrigor, who completed his hat-trick in style to cap off a sensational performance and seal a comprehensive 6-0 victory.
The final whistle confirmed one of Selangor’s most dominant performances of the season—sending a strong message to their rivals in the race for the top spots.
