Washington Brandao, Brazillian forward age 34 moving back to play in Malaysia again with Kelantan Darul Naim in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 second leg.
Known for his two previous seasons in the Malaysian Super League with the now-defunct PJ City FC, Brandao’s experience is a big boost for KDN as they seek to improve their standing.
His move comes after a stint with Abahani United FC in the Bangladesh Premier League. As the third foreign signing of the season for KDN, alongside Layth Kharoub from Palestine and Aung Kaung Mann from Myanmar.
Brandao is expected to strengthen the squad’s attack. KDN has also secured local talents Muhaimin Izzudin and Fikri Che Soh, as well as borrowed Hakimi Abdullah from Terengganu FC.
