Police Tero FC, a club in Thai League 1 has opening Tan Cheng Hoe, a Malaysian coach age 55 to be a new head coach in rest time of season 2023/24.
Cheng Hoe is a coach with more experience with 2 clubs in Malaysia, Kedah FA and Selangor FC, and has been working in the Football Association of Malaysia(FAM) in the position of assistant head coach of Harimau Muda A, Malaysia U19, U23, and first squad.
In 2018, Cheng Hoe was appointed to be head coach of Malaysia’s national team until 2022 and was runner-up in the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018.
Police Tero FC is a team in 14th ranked in the Thai League 1 season 2023/24 after have 19 points from 19 matches.
Cheng Hoe will debut with Police Tero FC in match against Nakhonpathom United in 2 March.
