The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has announced the results of its Executive Committee elections for the 2025-2029 term, with the voting outcomes across each contested position confirmed as follows.
President
Dato Ab Ghani Hassan was elected FAM President with 20 votes, defeating Dato’ Sri Shahril Mokhtar, who received 5 votes.
Vice President 1
Datuk Seri Rosmadi Ismail secured the Vice President 1 position with 15 votes, ahead of Mohd Firdaus Mohamed and Syed Yazid Syed Omar, who each polled 5 votes.

Dato’ Mohd Azhar Jamaluddin: 19 votes
Datuk Alijus @ Mohd Ali Sipil: 5 votes

Dato’ Zainal Abidin Hassan was elected comfortably with 22 votes, well ahead of Azlan Johar, who received 3 votes.
Executive Committee Member (Women’s Representative)
Dato’ Suraya Yaakob secured the Women’s Representative seat with 15 votes, ahead of Dr. Siti Faidul Maisarah Abdullah, who polled 10 votes.
