Stuart Ramalingam, CEO of Malaysian Football League (MFL), confirmed that PDRM FC will use the MBPJ Stadium to be a main venue for Liga Super Malaysia 2023.
The decision saw PDRM FC will be a new sharing team to use MBPJ Stadium together with Selangor FC who will continue to use MBPJ Stadium this season.
Before, MBPJ Stadium has a PJ City is an owner of the stadium and Selangor FC as a team to sharing the stadium since 2020 after Selangor FC can’t use Shah Alam Stadium due to under construction.
Earlier, PDRM FC was expected to play at the KLFA Stadium before deciding to move to MBPJ Stadium.
“PDRM has confirmed MBPJ Stadium as the official venue for the 2023 season. We do not have any issues regarding the use of this official venue, only that each stadium will only be filled by two clubs,” Stuart said.
PDRM FC use KLFA Stadium, Cheras is a home stadium since 2020 sharing with Kuala Lumpur City.
