Malaysian Football League (MFL) has announced updates to the Round of 16 schedule for the TM Piala Malaysia 2024/25, originally set for 8-10 November and 22-24 November 2024.
These matches have been rescheduled due to the need to complete the postponed Super League Week 9 match between Perak FC and Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) on 10 November 2024, which will finalize the league standings before the TM Malaysia Cup Draw.
The new schedule for the Round of 16 matches is as follows:
• First Leg: 20-24 November 2024
• Second Leg: 29 November – 1 December 2024
As a result, the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 Matchday 16 fixtures, initially set for 29 November 2024, will be shifted to December, with the full revised Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 schedule to be announced soon.
Additionally, MFL has confirmed amendments to other Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 matches:
1. Kuching City FC vs. Negeri Sembilan FC (Week 13)
• Original Date: 18 October 2024 (Friday)
• New Date: 20 October 2024 (Sunday)
• Original Kickoff: 8:15 PM
• New Kickoff: 7:30 PM
• Reason: Venue unavailability.
2. Kelantan Darul Naim FC vs. Kuala Lumpur City FC (Week 13)
• Original Kickoff: 5:15 PM
• New Kickoff: 9:00 PM
• Original Venue: Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium
• New Venue: Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium, Cheras
• Reason: Ongoing field upgrades at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium.
3. PDRM FC vs. Selangor FC (Week 13)
• Original Kickoff: 5:30 PM
• New Kickoff: 9:00 PM
4. Perak FC vs. Sabah FC (Week 13)
• Original Kickoff: 5:30 PM
• New Kickoff: 5:00 PM
• Reason: Insufficient lighting levels at Manjung Municipal Council Stadium.
